Made for the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation to commemorate the 200th anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth, ‘Darwin's Evolution’ is a tribute to the father of science and modern biology. As a tribute to a man who learned, analysed, invented, created, cooperated and lived to imagine scientifically, various national and international scientists are heard in an in-depth analysis of different aspects of the scientist's seminal work: ‘On the Origin of Species’.

Darwin's work had an enormous impact on the way we understand nature, challenging many of the established beliefs about life and our importance as a species. We remember his fundamental contribution once again at a Congress that emphasises the importance of developing attitudes and skills in the experimental sciences.
