InShadow![]() DRAWER Teatro do Vestido / Joana Craveiro Performance 10 and 11 Dec. 6PM to 9PM - 3 sessions > Biblioteca Municipal de Alcântara
DRAWER Joana Craveiro begins from a collection of photographs that existed at her grandmother's house, the stories of which she was never told, and she relates it to yet another collection, purchased in 2018. Filled with strangers, both collections gaze at her, asking for her to reveal them; archives waiting for a reactivation, for a second life. And Joana Craveiro offers it, discovering them, excavating through the well-designed subtitles of the purchased collection, and the absence of information from the inherited collection - the latter situated in a place within her memory that is, in fact, the geography of a house, more so than the geography of the images themselves.
