PRODvoarteO AQUI [HERE] This time of the world.. This time of ours... Dance Performance 29th and 30th June and 1st . 9pm // 2nd July . 5pm | Teatro Meridional
HERE This time of the world... This time of ours...
A performance that has time as a major theme, the chronologic and the inner time, exploring it through the crossing of languages, weaving a play in which senses and emotions lead us to a constant rebalancing.
On stage, nine interpreters create a space for challenge, for questioning, that leads to the reevaluation of who am I and who the other is. The stage becomes a bullring of gazes.
Here intends to put an end to the conceptions and enactments produced by society around the citizens with special needs, a constant search for the saturated humanism. A dance show with a narrative occasionally fluid, occasionally fragmented, where human worlds with different circumstances of being can be found and a space of equality is gained.
It was considered by the "Público" journal as one of the best dance performances of 2009, year of its premiere at Teatro Camões with the co-production of São Luiz Theatre.
"It embraces bodies called as socially different” (...) "with a simultaneos artistic and social positioning." Cláudia Galhós

TIME TRILOGY
The language of contemporary dance crossed with video, drawing, poetry and sound. The strong transdisciplinary part opens inedited paths in "Time" - theme around which CiM has developed a trilogy -, that explore the relation with the other, as an individual that lives the time imposed to him by the celerity of contemporary world. The Time trilogy stands out for the integration of the work of different bodies, and the look's objectivity is questioned to defy the perception of artistic and emotional encounters launched on stage, which doubtlessly transform every single person that participates in these shows. |
