Unlimited Access
European Project

Unlimited Access is a new European project co-organized by Vo’Arte, British Council (United Kingdom), Onassis Cultural Centre (Greece) and Croatian Institute for Movement and Dance (Croatia). Dedicated to disability in the arts, the project’s motto is “Through whose eyes do we need to see the world?” and intends to show the importance of valuing differences in the artistic scene.

In order to promote inclusion and diversity in the arts, increase and improve the mobility of deaf artists and artists with other special needs in Europe and increase the audience’s participation and the valuing of Disability Arts, the project includes sixteen activities: 5 management tools, 1 study visit, 3 creative encounters, 3 showcases, 2 dissemination tools including a European Unlimited festival and 2 evaluation tools.

Unlimited Access will promote the exchange of the best practices among European art organizations that are looking for patterns, facilities and methodologies that reduce the obstacles deaf people and people with other special needs face as artists and public, exploring the artistic value of the works created by these artists who have an unique perspective on the experiment of the world that surrounds them. The programme will highlight their work, which defies more traditional ideas through the narrative and the content.

Vo’Arte will follow the project’s management, promote the project online and through newsletters, organize creative encounters, present shows and receive the partners in InShadow.
