Every year, in Beira Alta, the province with the highest rate of desertification, thirteen villages of the border rejuvenate for a bullfight with unique characteristics in the world: the Capeia Arraiana. The butlers prepare the party and contribute to the ethnographic heritage, starting a ritual of emancipation given by their confrontations with the bull’s violence. |
