DIFvoarteNaked City Transdisciplinar Performance
Naked City is a play composed by bodies + objects installed on a dark surface in a blind confrontation with the audience. The model proposed contemplates the idea of "live manipulation" and expresses a tridimensional dynamic: scenic space, image and sound. It is a collective project focused on the economy of words and gestures that transmits the constant possibility of metamorphosis.
It's a show that resembles an experiment, an abstract but concrete vision about the issue of the perception of look. Human beings choose what to see as much as what to hear, and consequently what to touch.
The look dominates the essence of Naked City, turning the visible, visible. There are whispers and shadows, and nameless things. Reports a journey to a city, which is ours as well.
The project intends to explore, clarify and expose an approach to human senses based on three major lines of creation: nude space/neutral territory; internal/external habitability; specificities/complicities; attractions/repellencies.
